More About Our Ephrata Store

Thank you for visiting our website. Comics and Paperbacks Plus, Ephrata is owned by Ralph Watts, and operated by Ralph and Justin Albert. Ralph has been actively reading and collecting comics since 1972. His experience in the comics industry includes working in the 1980's as an employee of Tucson, Arizona's first direct sales comic store, Comic Corner. Later, he became Trade Stock Manager at Alternate Realities, the sister company of Mile High Comics, in Denver, Colorado. Ralph returned to Susquehanna Valley in 1987, and began selling comics in local flea markets, at conventions, by mail order, and eventually in his own store, Comics and Paperbacks Plus (originally named Comics for Collectors of All Ages) in Palmyra, PA.  Today, Comics and Paperbacks Plus in Palmyra is nearly 2,000 square foot in size carrying new and back issue comics, graphic novels, quality used "Mostly Mystery" and Romance novels in addition to it's growing selection of "Local Lebanon Valley History, Lore, Bugs, and More". Our Palmyra location currently serves nearly 300 standing order comic subscribers, as well as an equal number of walk-in comic and paperback customers.  When in the Hershey area, please check it out.  It is located at 201 East Main Street, Palmyra and the hours are Tuesday-Saturday 12 Noon - 9P.M.

Comics and Paperbacks Plus, Ephrata, opened in August 2008.  Originally operated by Ralph solely on Thursday, Friday and Saturday Evenings, it became a full-time store in April 2009.  Justin Albert operates the store daily, Wednesday thru Saturday from 12 Noon until 9 P.M., while Ralph normally works every Thursday evening, the third Friday evening of the month and usually the second Saturday evening of the month.  We receive our new comics on Wednesdays.  Ralph (only) buys quality used paperbacks - "Mostly Mystery" and Romances in perfect shape when he is working, So you should find something new every time you visit.
